6:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday52 weeks a year. We are closed for gazetted public holidays

- Koalas (Nursery) 6 weeks to 15 months
- Joeys (Toddlers) 12 months to 2 years
- Quokkas (Snr-Toddlers) 2 to 3 years
- Wombats (Pre Kindy) - 3 years - 4 Years
- Bilbies (Kindy) - 4 Years - 5 Years

Family Involvement
Our service offers an “open door” policy. We encourage family/community involvement within our service.
Families are encouraged to keep lines of communication open to allow for important information to be passed on.
Our Team
Our Centre Director Miss Katrina has been in the Childcare Industry for 28 years and our Assistant Director Mr Scott has been in the Childcare Industry for 9 years.
Our Centre has a team of dedicated educators, across all of our age groups. We have long standing educators within our service providing consistent and quality care to each and every child. All educators maintain current First Aid certificates, CPR ,Anaphylaxis and Asthma training and Child Protection training is attended annually.
Child Safety and Wellbeing Statement of Commitment
At Wynnum & Bayside, we are committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of children, including First Nations children, children with disabilities, from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children that are gender diverse.
We recognise the link between the safety and wellbeing of children and the successful delivery of our Mission and Vision. Consistent with our organisational values, Wynnum & Bayside will work to promote the mental health and wellbeing of children, instill a culture of child safety, listen to our youth community and work to reduce the risk of harm.
We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse and will embed and enact processes to respond to incidents.
Child safety is a shared responsibility between Wynnum & Bayside, its employees, volunteers, contractors, associates and community.
Registration & Enrollment
We invite you to visit our Service and meet the staff that will be caring for your child/ren.
If you decide that this is the service you would like to enrol your child/ren, you will be given an enrolment package to read and fill out and return to the Centre Director to start your enrolment process. Your enrolment package has an enrolment form, parent handbook as well as other information. The information supplied on the enrolment form is strictly confidential and should always to be kept up to date.
If you are looking for care in 2025 we are now taking enrolments, positions subject to availability as spaces are limited. Please complete our Wait List and return the completed copy to admin@wynbaycc.com.au

Child Care Subsidy
The new Child Care Subsidy, replaces the current Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.
The Child Care Subsidy commenced on 2 July 2018, it:
- replaced the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) with a single, means-tested subsidy
- gets paid directly to providers to be passed on to families is simpler than the current multi-payment system
- is better targeted and provide more assistance to low and middle income families.
Free Kindergarten
Kindergarten, known as Kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and is free for Queensland children attending a government-approved kindergarten program from 1 January 2024.
Kindergarten programs are offered in long day care services and sessional kindergarten services. Sessional kindergartens operate during school hours each school term, whereas long day care services can provide a kindergarten program as part of their extended hours of care.
